Stephen Mulhern’s eye-watering income

Stephen’s skyrocketing income comes from a host of high-profile roles. He appeared on Dancing on Ice as a co-host and is the new face of the revived Deal Or No Deal. The game show is currently filming its third series with Stephen at the helm.

Alongside his TV appearances, Stephen has also had a successful summer residency at Butlin’s holiday parks. He also has a property portfolio said to be worth millions.

The Sun reported in 2021 that Mulhern’s property firm JFDI Productions has an impressive portfolio. The portfolio has six homes on its books, including luxury-style properties. The firm was reportedly worth £2.2 million, with homes in Essex and Leicester as well as South West London.

Land Registry commercial ownership files show that Stephen’s firm bought two South West London flats – one in 2015 for £753,000 and another in 2020 for £640,000.

Adding to his financial empire, the presenter has published a range of best-selling children’s books.

If that wasn’t enough, he also runs Blue Eye Productions, his production company – which reportedly brought in over £300,000 a month between February 2023 and 2024. That means, he’s earning as much as £80k per week!

Stephen reportedly has a net worth somewhere between £5m and £7m.

Stephen’s health scare

However, he’s not one to become complacent, regardless of the amount of success he’s has.

Stephen has previously spoken about how there are “a thousand people out there” waiting to “take his place”.

As a result, work is something he takes very seriously.

“London is an exciting city, but I’m not one for going out on the razzle,” he told The Times in May last year. “My ideal Friday night is cheese on toast and a bit of telly. I start with old episodes of Judge Judy. I’m in bed by 10.30pm, listening to vintage Steve Penk wind-ups on my headphones.

“Does it sound boring? I prefer to see it as making sure I do a good job. That’s how I was brought up. If Dad [Christopher, who died earlier this year] wasn’t at the top of his game on the market, he didn’t sell anything and the bills didn’t get paid. If I’m not at the top of my game, there’s a thousand people out there ready to take my place.”

Watch In For A Penny on ITV1 Saturday (August 16) at 2.50pm.
