Ahead of his funeral this afternoon, a procession was held along Broad Street, where floral tributes were laid out for him at Black Sabbath Bridge.

Ozzy Osbourne funeral: Sharon Osbourne seen for the first time
Ozzy’s coffin was driven by a hearse as the live brass band, Bostin’ Brass, played Black Sabbath’s song Iron Man while the street mourned the star.
The top of his car featured a purple cross made out of flowers. His name, Ozzy, inside the car was decorated with pink flowers with a white hand-tied bunch sat at the back of his coffin.
Mourners lining the streets shouted: “Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy, oi oi oi!” as his coffin passed by.

As the family made their way out of the cars behind to look at the beautiful tributes, a heartbroken Sharon was supported by her three children – Kelly, Aimee and Jack Osbourne – as she made her first public appearance since her husband’s death.
The family wore all-black for the occasion. Kelly and Jack – visibly moved – opted for sunglasses, while Sharon and Aimee didn’t.

Sharon burst into tears as the crowd shared their continuous support. Kelly could also be seen weeping. Jack, too, looked heartbroken.
Sharon then made her way over to the floral tributes left at the Black Sabbath Bridge. There, she then laid her own for her husband. A single white rose wrapped in black tissue paper.
She could be seen weeping. Sharon also acknowledged fans by giving the peace sign. The family were seen hugging each other before getting back into their blacked-out people carriers.

Fans send their love
While watching the stream online, fans immediately reacted to Ozzy’s funeral.
“Prayers and love to the Osbourne family,” one shared.
Thank you for letting the world say goodbye to the Prince of Darkness.
“I can’t imagine the loss The Osbourne family is feeling right now. My heart breaks for Sharon. Thank you for sharing Ozzy with us, and letting the world say goodbye to the Prince of Darkness,” a third remarked.

The family will now travel to Buckinghamshire, close to their home.
There, Ozzy will be laid to rest in a private family funeral.
