The countdown is on for Corriedale, and ITV has just dropped a brand-new trailer packed with fresh spoilers.
This one-off soap crossover, hitting screens in January, promises high-octane drama – including a massive car pile-up that will have Weatherfield and Emmerdale residents fighting for survival.
With so many characters caught in the chaos, and with tensions are sky-high, who will make it through unscathed, and who could be in serious trouble? One thing’s for sure, it’s set to be a heart-stopping start to the new year.
Fresh Corriedale trailer gives first look at huge stunt
ITV has sent soap fans into a frenzy with a brand-new, jaw-dropping trailer for the epic Corriedale crossover. And it’s safe to say, this one is massive.
The intense, edge-of-your-seat promo teases a catastrophic car pile-up that smashes together the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale like never before. Dropped during The Big Quiz, the 30-second clip cranked the drama up to eleven.
Among those caught in the chaos are Corrie favourites Kit Green, Carla Connor, Asha Alahan, Shona Platt and James Bailey, alongside Emmerdale power players Cain and Charity Dingle, Sarah and Robert Sugden, Jacob Gallagher and Joe Tate.
They join an already star-studded lineup featuring David Platt, Tracy Barlow, Aaron Dingle and Lisa Swain, promising tension, heartbreak and edge-of-your-seat action in every second.
In the aftermath, Kit Green takes charge as a visibly shaken Carla tries to calm a distressed casualty. Shona and David lie injured roadside while Emmerdale paramedic Jacob leaps into action, with Asha and Cain tackling more casualties nearby.
Pregnancy drama looms too, with Charity helping a screaming Shona at Hotten General. And, Kevin and Abi desperately search for Debbie, while Robert’s cries for Aaron echo through the darkness. Chills.
Corriedale ITVX release scrapped
Mark your calendars, soap fans! The full Corriedale extravaganza lands at 8pm on January 5th, and no, it won’t be sneaky-streamed early on ITVX.
But don’t worry, your fix starts sooner. Emmerdale kicks things off at 7pm, followed by Coronation Street at 7.30pm, with both half-hour episodes popping up on ITVX from 7am.
This special hour isn’t just chaos and crashes. It’s a full-on love letter to the world of soaps. And it officially kicks off ITV’s shiny new ‘soap power hour’, pairing Coronation Street and Emmerdale back-to-back for maximum drama. Expect fireworks, tension, and all the twists you never saw coming!
