Prince Harry to ‘feature’ in King Charles’ new documentary in sweet nod

The king's new film will air next week

King Charles’ new documentary is set to air next week, and it will reportedly feature clips of Prince Harry.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, from Prime Video and The King’s Foundation, will premiere on February 6.

The special film will follow the king’s lifelong commitment to the philosophy of harmony and the environment as a whole, Amazon has said.

Prince Harry ‘features’ in King Charles’ documentary

The documentary will also feature archive footage of the king to showcase his years of advocacy for the environment. This archive footage will reportedly include Prince Harry, a sweet nod made from his father.

According to HELLO!, a short moment in the film shows a sweet father-son moment between Harry and Charles. They’re seen fishing when Harry was a child.

Harry’s older brother, Prince William, will also feature in the documentary in archive footage from when he was a child and when he was in his 20s.

The archive footage of Harry being included in the documentary could be seen as an olive branch by some.

Harry’s relationship with his father has been turbulent for some years since he stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and made a series of allegations about his family in tell-all interviews and in his memoir, Spare.

However, Harry previously expressed a desire to reconcile with his father and a small step towards that was made last year.

Will Harry and Charles ever reconcile?

Last May, during an interview with the BBC, Prince Harry expressed a desire to reconcile with his family. It came as his father continued to undergo treatment for cancer.

Harry told the BBC: “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight any more.

“Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”

Then, in September last year, Harry reunited with King Charles in person for the first time in 19 months. He had previously travelled to the UK in early 2024 after the king announced his cancer diagnosis.

In September, Prince Harry visited the king’s London residence, Clarence House, for a private tea. No details of the meeting were disclosed but Harry later said his father was doing good.

Harry’s Invictus Games ‘olive branch’

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex is now hoping his father will join him at the 2027 Invictus Games next July.

The games will take place in Birmingham, UK, next summer. Harry launched his beloved event in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick military service personnel, both serving and veterans.

Speaking to The Sun this month, a source claimed that Harry wants to “fulfil a dream” with the king at the event.

They said: “Prince Harry desperately wants Charles at Invictus, and he wants him to open the games alongside him. Harry wants it to happen both for the games, and for their relationship. It’s his dream to have his father by his side.”

The royal family will receive invites for the big event next year, an Invictus Games spokesperson has confirmed.

But will the king take up Harry’s reported offer to take to the stage together? We’ll have to wait and see…
