King Charles and Queen Camilla have been branded the “most compatible royal couple” by a body language expert.
Charles and Camilla first met in the 1970s. Since then, they have endured a rollercoaster relationship.
They married in 2005 and have gone from strength to strength ever since, with Camilla supporting him through his cancer battle.
Now, to mark Valentine’s Day, a body language expert has said Charles and Camilla “have the same passion for each other still to this day”.
King Charles and Queen Camilla dubbed ‘most compatible couple’
Body language expert Darren Stanton has recently shared his thoughts on several royal couples, including Charles and Camilla.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren noted that the pair have a “deep intensity for one another” that has “continued to grow”.
They have had this deep love since they were both very young.
He explained: “I would say Charles and Camilla are the most compatible royal couple. They have had this deep love since they were both very young. We’re talking about a 50-year-plus romance.
“They’ve been in love a long time and it’s been an intense relationship where they’ve had to overcome a lot. Even looking at pictures of them when they were younger, whenever Camilla was photographed, it’s so clear they had this deep intensity for one another and it has continued to grow. They have the same passion for each other still to this day.”
Charles and Camilla ‘on the same page emotionally’
The expert then noted how Charles acts when he is by himself. He said: “During public events, Charles is often looking around and fidgeting when Camilla isn’t by his side, which shows how dependent he is on her.
“But when they are together, we see this genuine laughter shared between them with engaged eye contact, and this shows how they are on the same page emotionally.
“When he was a young prince, we rarely saw him display a relaxed nature. Camilla brings that side out of him where he can be himself, let go and just enjoy his time as king.”
Prince William and Princess Kate have ‘strong bond’
As for Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales, who married in April 2011, Darren thinks they are a “real power couple”.
He said: “A lot of that is due to the strength of their relationship. They are totally at ease and open in each other’s presence and have really come into their own.
“They have fantastic eye contact, a controlled stillness, and calm fluid gestures – their bond is strong and clear for all to see.”
Verdict on Harry and Meghan’s marriage
Moving on to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Darren said their relationship has “evolved”.
He said: “When they started dating and became more established as an official couple, they were very affectionate in public. When looking at their body language from recent events, it’s clear they’re on the same page as each other. They have shown a lot of solidarity and openness with each other.
“They aren’t afraid to let the world into their relationship. They naturally mirror each other’s gestures and their love for each other comes across as very natural.”
He added: “They show that they are in a very strong place together. Harry and Meghan have proven they are one of the strongest couples in the public domain and their connection is only going to develop more.”
