Stacey Solomon has joined the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel, standing in for Simon Cowell as he takes time out for health reasons.
The mum-of-five – who celebrates her 36th birthday today (October 4) – joined Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI in Birmingham yesterday as a guest judge.

Stacey Solomon shares Britain’s Got Talent behind-the-scenes snaps
She also shared a number of snaps in a first look from the set.
Stacey first shared a picture of her name up in lights above the BGT stage. She wrote over the picture: “What in the alternate universe is going on,” adding: “Dream.”

Over on the BGT socials, she was seen backstage as she told fans: “I am here at the BGT HQ in Birmingham. I’m actually so excited to be a guest judge. This is a dream come true for me. So I can’t wait to get out there now and see what it’s all about.”
Posting to her socials after filming had finished, Stacey shared: “Honestly, tonight was a dream. I loved every second of it. Thanks for the memory BGT. And thank you Birmingham, what an honour to see so much talent tonight.

“Also I need to take a moment to thank Amanda, KSI and Alesha, because I’ve never walked into a job so last-minute and felt so at home and so welcomed. The nicest bunch of people. Seriously kind, genuine humans and I loved being in your company for the day.”
Stacey also revealed that her son Leighton had met his “hero” KSI and told him he “loved him”. She said the moment earned her serious cool mum points.

BGT viewers react
Fans were thrilled to see Stacey on the panel, and loved her behind-the-scenes content.
“Omg Stace! Awesome news! Go girl!” said one. “Manifesting you become a regular,” said another. “Love this for you can’t wait to watch this episode,” said a third. “It’s so ironic, because now Stacey’s TV programmes are both bigger than Britain’s Got Talent. So it’s ‘them’ that are lucky to have her,” said another.

Amanda Holden presses her golden buzzer
Elsewhere on the BGT socials, Amanda Holden revealed that she had pressed the first golden buzzer of the series.
“My heart is racing,” she declared in a clip posted to Instagram. “Honestly, it’s a really emotional moment,” she teased.
We’ll just have to wait and find out who the lucky auditionee is when the series airs in early 2026.
