Penny Lancaster has paid tribute to her late family dog in a post shared to Instagram, three months after revealing the beloved pet had died following a cancer diagnosis.
The 54-year-old TV personality and former model, who is married to music legend Sir Rod Stewart, shared an image on her Instagram Story on Thursday evening (June 26).

Penny Lancaster shares tribute to dog Bubbles
The illustration showed a woman sitting beside a golden dog with angel wings, watching the sunrise over a field. A speech bubble read: “We still talk about you,” to which the dog replies: “I know.”
Penny captioned the post “Bubbles,” followed by a white heart emoji, a nod to the family’s late Cavapoo.
The tribute follows the devastating news she confirmed back in March, when she announced that Bubbles had passed away after a battle with cancer.
At the time, Penny wrote: “I still think you left too soon but I’m thankful for your time. Heaven’s lucky to have you and so was I.”
Penny and Rod are well known for their love of animals, particularly dogs.
The couple have adopted pets from rescue shelters over the years, including their second dog, Labradoodle Lilly, who was often seen side-by-side with Bubbles in family photos and videos.

‘Companions for life’
In a previous Instagram post, Penny opened up about Bubbles’ diagnosis.
“Bubbles, our curly one, has been diagnosed with cancer. Although his recent surgery was successful, sadly, it’s spread,” she wrote.
“Our Lilly from @battersea keeps him company and never leaves his side, and the two of them never leave my side. “Companions for life, for as long as that life will be. I feel blessed for every moment I spend with them.”
She concluded the emotional post by calling them “my gifts from up above, my angels on earth”.
The couple’s deep affection for their dogs is no secret.
Last year, they were featured in a post by the Celia Hammond Animal Trust, showing them cuddling their dog Lilly.
At the time, they also shared their adoption story.
“Lilly, our rescue dog from Battersea, came into our lives just before lockdown,” the couple wrote. “She shows us her gratitude every day with her love, protection and loyalty.”
