TV personality Mark Wright had to go to hospital in Las Vegas after suffering a head injury that left him with a nasty scar.
Many people know Mark best for his regular appearances on the first three series of The Only Way Is Essex. However, the one-time party boy has assured fans he wasn’t drunk when he injured himself.
Mark shared the news on Instagram while flying first-class back to London. The fall happened in the bathroom, in the middle of the night, Mark said.
Mark Wright left with head injury after Las Vegas fall
TOWIE star Mark updated his fans on a little bathroom mishap, assuring followers he is “absolutely fine”, despite a worrying hospital dash.
From a first-class seat on his flight back to London, he explained in an Instagram Story that he fell in the bathroom.
“For those that are asking on my Instagram, I fell in the bathroom. I wasn’t drunk. It was in the middle of the night, half asleep. Needed a few stitches but I’m all good, absolutely fine,” he informed his fans.
“Another year done. F1 in Vegas. What an experience. I’m coming home with a little scar.”
And 30 stitches, Mark!
The 37-year-old star also shared a post by Steve Weiser, featuring photos of him in the hospital.
Steve is the Las Vegas Bureau Chief at Extra TV, where Mark used to work as an entertainment correspondent. He left the role in 2019.
In his post, Steve wrote: “Another Formula One Las Vegas in the books and this one left its mark. Nothing was gonna stop this guy from delivering the goods for Extra TV and Vegas. Not even a visit to the ER and 30+ stitches.”

Mark is on his way home
“On my way home to see the wife,” Mark continued, in his Instagram Story.
“I just want to say a quick thanks to Palms Casino Resorts, also Fontainebleau. Incredible new property in Vegas. F1 as well – thank you so much. A massive thank you for my man Steve Weiser.
“What a guy – setting it all up and giving us an unforgettable week. But now it’s home time for Christmas. Can’t wait to see my loved ones. Until next time, Vegas. Peace out.”
TLC from wife Michelle
Mark and Michelle Keegan recently sailed past an interview his ex Lauren Goodger sat down for with We Need To Talk podcast host Paul Brunson.
During the tell-all conversation, Lauren opens up about a supposedly broken promise and lamented the fact that Mark had moved on to live the life they planned to live together – but with Michelle instead of her.
But Mark and Michelle seemed unfazed by the divulgence, sharing an update of their own, involving noodles, their dog and a movie. We hope she’s now lavishing her hubby with lots of TLC as he recovers.
