Former glamour model Katie Price has shown off a new look that has left her fans with completely divided opinions.
The mum-of-five is no stranger to reinventing herself and has been open about her plastic cosmetic procedures.
However, in her latest update, it appears Katie has debuted a new look thanks to the magic of hair and makeup…

In an upload shared earlier today (October 23), Katie appeared in a dressing room rocking a large, brown curly wig.
She donned a long-sleeved black jumper paired with light blue jeans and heels while wearing fake tan.
In the first slide, Katie posed alongside Dominic Ackah-Amihere. In his Instagram bio, he states he is a “celebrity colourist”.
For the following slide, Katie was captured in a chair getting her hair sprayed.
“CUSTOM PIECE FOR @katieprice Wella,” the caption read, referring to her wig. “P.S., we had 3 minutes to throw this on and conceal 26 inches of hair.”
In the comments section, Katie put three red heart emoji.

‘Hit a new low’
Katie’s upload certainly didn’t go unnoticed by her followers. However, due to her dark tan, she was accused of blackfishing.
According to the BBC, blackfishing “refers to someone who uses things like hairstyling and makeup to make themselves appear darker as if they have black heritage or are mixed-race”.
“I love ya, but why are you matching this black man’s skin?” one user wrote.
“What in the blackfish is going on here…” another person shared.
“What in the blackface is going on here????” a third remarked.
“Wow blackfacing now? Hit a new low,” a fourth said.
“Turning herself into a woman of colour now? What next?!” a fifth person expressed.

‘She can pull anything off’
Meanwhile, many of her followers seem to have embraced her bold look.
“WOW she can pull anything off, she looks amazing as ever,” one said.
“This hair suits you so well!” another insisted.
“Wow gorgeous @katieprice the curls definitely suit you,” a third stated.
