Pregnant Jesy Nelson has issued a health update from her hospital bed, having been there since March after undergoing emergency surgery to save the lives of her unborn twins.
The star, 33, is expecting twins with her partner, Zion Foster, whom she first started dating in 2022.
Jesy Nelson’s pregnancy complications
At the start of March, Jesy revealed that there had been some complications with her pregnancy.
“The type of twins we are having are called mono/di twins and so normally most twins will have two placentas that they feed off of,” she said.
“But when you have mono/di twins, that means your twins live off one placenta which can lead to lots of complications – one of them being one baby might take all the nutrients which, and it’s really awful to say, but could lead to both babies dying,” the Touch hitmaker then continued.
“I am currently pre-stage TTTS which is twin-to-twin transfusion and I am being monitored very closely and I have to go and be scanned twice a week.”
A few days later, she went to have surgery. Thankfully, it was a success.

Jesy Nelson issues health update
Taking to TikTok from her hospital bed, Jesy asked her followers for some advice.
“When I first come out of hospital, one of the first things I wanna do is dye my barnet,” she said in the video.
“First of all because… get your greys out for the lads!’ she continued, zooming in on some grey hairs on her head.
“Second of all, I feel like I’ve been this colour for like, quite a while now. I don’t feel like it’s ginger anymore, it’s just like a washed out auburn,” she then continued.
“So Zion wants me to go like a browny-blonde. And I just don’t know. I don’t know what suits me, so I want your advice. What like hair colour do you actually love on me best? I can’t decide,” she then added.
It seems as though plenty want the star to go blonde – however, she’s not allowed to dye her hair just yet, so it remains to be seen what colour she’ll go for…

Jesy’s partner opens up
Jesy’s partner, Zion, recently opened up during an interview with The Mirror about the couple’s ordeal. He also provided an update on their unborn twins’ conditions.
“They’re giving us so much hope they’re going to come out healthy. Jesy and the twins have come through so much. There were so many times in this pregnancy we didn’t think we’d get to where we are now,” he said.
He then told the publication that the “strong” and “brave” twins’ strength is “unmatched” and both he and Jesy feel like they ‘already know’ them due to how much they have had to overcome.
“The hardest moment was definitely the operation. But now that we’ve overcome that, every day is just a day better,” he then added.
