The One Show host Alex Jones has shared an update after she took her three-year-old daughter to hospital following a fall over the weekend.
The beloved TV star, 48, is a proud mama to three children – Teddy, eight, Kit, six, and three-year-old Annie, whom she shares with husband Charlie Thomson.
The family of five live in the countryside, after relocating from London last year. However, this weekend, Alex shared her panic after her daughter Annie was rushed to hospital. Now she’s shared an update.

On Sunday (June 1) Alex took to her Instagram Story and shared a photo from the hospital.
“My view. Poor Annie has had a fall,” Alex told her 444k followers.
The One Show host added: “Nothing serious but she is wiped out bless her after a very long day.”
Annie update shared
Last night (June 2), Alex shared a new update, apologising to fans as she revealed she forgot to post it earlier in the day.
Speaking while on a walk with her dog Scout, she gave an update on what happened to Annie, and how she was initially given the wrong treatment by a hospital in Pembrokeshire, where they were enjoying a family break.
‘She’s feeling happier because the cast’s in the right place’
The presenter said: “I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody who sent some messages yesterday. Long story short, Annie fell off a swing in Pembrokeshire. They put it in a cast locally but couldn’t really see a fracture. It was still swollen and mother’s instinct told me there was something wrong.
“So took her to A&E yesterday with the rest of Britain. The waits were really long and they were working so hard bless them. But eventually after a lot of back and forth and X-rays, the break was actually in a different position above her elbow,” she said.
Finishing up her video, Alex concluded: “So she’s now in a cast and feeling a lot happier because the cast’s in the right place. But thank you to everybody in Pembrokeshire and here that tried their best for Annie. She’s comfortable now so all good.”

Alex Jones’ daughter broke arm this year
Annie’s fall comes after the youngster ended up breaking her elbow in March. On the Binge! podcast with Harry Judd, Alex recalled a game of Gladiators among her three kids ended in an unfortunate injury.
“They got on an arm each, clashed in the middle, and somehow Kit fell against Annie’s elbow. And you know when you just know, because the cry is different? And we really tried to brush it under the carpet like the good parents we are.”
Alex then said: “But the next day she was still beside herself and it was swollen. Yeah broken, clean break at the elbow. So plaster cast past her elbow but ready for the next layer? She’s also got chicken pox – and she’s covered in it.”
