Strictly Come Dancing was back tonight (October 11) for Movie Week, with Wicked star Cynthia Erivo joining the show.
Sadly tonight, pregnant Dianne Buswell and Stefan Dennis were forced to sit out the ballroom fun and games after the actor fell ill.
However, the rest of the couples were fighting fit and ready to give it their all on the dance floor – and got a little boost as Wicked icon Cynthia was on hand to offer guidance during the week and feedback after their dances.

Cynthia Erivo joins Strictly Come Dancing for Movie Week
Strictly Come Dancing judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke had to make room on their bench for a newcomer tonight as Cynthia Erivo was invited onto the show.
She joined the contestants in the training room this week, acting as a guest mentor. On Saturday night, she was also invited to sit with the judges. She danced onto set alongside the famous four before taking her seat in the centre of the desk.
However, while she offered the couples feedback, she wasn’t given a paddle or the ability to vote. And it’s fair to say that those watching at home were a bit baffled by Cynthia sitting on the judges’ table, but not actually being a judge…

Complaints as Cynthia joins Strictly
The tweets poured in as Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin’s scores came in after they opened the Movie Week special.
“V funny that they’ve banned Cynthia from scoring,” said one. Another added: “Someone give Cynthia a paddle……it’s all a bit awkward…” A third said: “Cynthia just sat there whilst they give their scores.” “Why’s Cynthia not scoring?” another asked.
Another then posted: “Why is Cynthia not scoring? Why’s she just sat there. Stick her in the audience or something.” “Oh is Cynthia not scoring?? That’s odd,” another commented. “What is the point of Cynthia being at the judges desk if she isn’t scoring? She could’ve been in the audience,” said another.
