Emmerdale delivered an unexpected twist tonight (February 23) as Graham and Cain found themselves on the same side — but Kim Tate is already suspicious.
After a fiery confrontation earlier in the episode, the pair ended up bonding in a way few viewers saw coming. Graham even showed sympathy over Cain’s cancer diagnosis.
However, by the end of the episode, one look from Kim suggested this new alliance could spell serious trouble.

Graham and Cain struck a deal in Emmerdale tonight
The drama kicked off when Joe realised his missing car had Cain’s fingerprints all over it — figuratively speaking. Unable to prove it, he sent Graham to retrieve it instead.
Graham tracked the vehicle down at the farm. While there, he stumbled across a letter revealing Cain’s cancer diagnosis.
Before he could leave, Cain caught him snooping and tempers flared. Cain attempted to throw a punch, but Graham overpowered him and hit him in the stomach.
Despite this, when Joe later asked where he found the car, Graham lied — protecting Cain’s secret. Kim clearly wasn’t convinced, but Joe appeared satisfied.
Later in the pub, Graham joined Cain and the pair spoke about his illness. With no one else in the family aware of the diagnosis, Graham urged him to tell Moira and even suggested selling the farm to focus on his health. Cain resisted the advice.
As they shook hands, Kim walked in and saw the moment — and instantly assumed the worst.
Kim tries to get Graham to betray Cain
Spoilers for later this week reveal Kim wastes no time filling Joe in. She insists there is only one way to test Graham’s loyalty — make him act against Cain.
Her plan? Graham must sabotage the farm machinery to prove he isn’t secretly siding with the Dingles.
Now firmly caught in the middle, Graham faces a difficult choice. If he refuses, he risks losing Kim and Joe’s trust. If he goes through with it, he could be drawing battle lines for good.
We already know he turns up at the farm again — and his arrival coincides with a farm emergency as Cain receives help from those around him.
The big question is whether Graham will step up to help… or carry out Kim’s orders instead.
