Could Prince William and Prince Harry finally bring their long-running feud to an end? A royal expert believes so, especially with both King Charles and Kate Middleton battling cancer.
The King’s cancer diagnosis was announced back in February, while Kate finally broke her silence and revealed her diagnosis on March 22.
Prince Harry news: Duke to reconcile with William?
Amid the King and Kate’s cancer battles, it’s been speculated that the brothers could bring their feud to an end.
Speaking to The Sun, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has speculated that the brothers could reunite when Harry returns to the UK in May.
The Duke of Sussex is set to be in the country for the Invictus Games.
During his chat with The Sun, Fitzwilliams explained that one of the key issues is that the rift between the Waleses and the Sussexes is “very deep”.
However, he then went on to say that serious family illnesses are a “game-changer” and can actually build bridges.

“Serious illness is the big changer, despite everything that’s happened, given the seriousness of the situation, anything can happen. William is under tremendous pressure, he’s got a father and his wife who are seriously ill and on top of that there’s royal duties,” Fitzwilliams said.
“When you have serious illness it’s a game changer and the situation changes totally. There could be something that surprises us all. You could have all the Sussexes over here, it’s perfectly possible a reunion could happen,” he then continued.
“Next week, next month, next year, you could get something you never dreamed you’d get.”
However, Harry could end up coming to the UK alone. Fitzwilliams claimed that Meghan will also have the final say on whether their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will accompany them.
Reconciliation hopes dashed?
However, royal expert Angela Levin is of the opinion that the Waleses don’t want to reconcile with the Sussexes. She claims that the fact that William and Kate didn’t tell Harry and Meghan about the cancer diagnosis shows they don’t want anything to do with them at the moment.
“I don’t think that Prince William or Catherine will want to see Harry for a very long time. One of the clues that William and Catherine don’t want to see Harry, and certainly not Megan, is that they were not told about Catherine having cancer,” she told The Sun.
“They didn’t hear it any earlier than anybody else did when it was. Kate made her extraordinary speech to the nation and to the world really and I think that shows that: One, he can’t be trusted, and two they don’t even want him to. They don’t want to have anything to do with him at the moment,” she then added.
