Meghan Markle makes As Ever restock announcement
This week, it was announced that As Ever will be restocking its products later this week.
A snap of some pancakes, drizzled in syrup and topped with raspberries, was shared.
“Oh yes, honey… sweet things await. Mark your calendars for June 20 at 8 a.m. PT – we’re bringing back your favorites, plus some delicious surprises you won’t want to miss!” the post read.
Meghan shared the post on her own story. “So much love has gone into this… and I can’t wait to share it with you this Friday, June 20,” she wrote.
The restocking comes after the duchess’ products sold out in just 45 minutes during As Ever’s launch back in April.
Meghan deliberately paused production after the first drop sold out so quickly. It came as many fans were begging for her to restock her products after some didn’t manage to get their hands on them.
She explained that she wanted to ensure that her business was “completely stable” before releasing more products, avoiding the “scarcity mentality” that might frustrate customers.
Meghan Markle on making the As Ever business stable ahead of restock
Speaking on her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, Meghan explained: “I don’t want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want that to be on your shelf all the time.”
She then said that after planning the brand’s launch for a year, the 45-minute sellout prompted some consideration.
“Are we going to replenish and sell out again in an hour, or is that annoying as a customer?” she said.
Some delicious surprises you won’t want to miss.
“I’m looking at it, saying, just pause. That happened. Let’s wait until we are completely stable and we have everything we need.”
During the TIME100 summit, Meghan admitted that selling out in “45 minutes was not something I could have anticipated”.
Meghan also revealed that she’d “shed tears” thanks to As Ever and some of the issues she’s faced with it.
What does As Ever sell?
Meghan’s business sells all sorts of sweet treats, including jams, honey, various herbal teas, crepe mix, shortbread cookie mix and flower sprinkles.
Meghan’s ‘gift’ to King Charles
Following the launch of As Ever, it was reported that the duchess sent some jam to her father-in-law King Charles.
Reports claimed that Meghan sent a sent a “sample box of delights” from her As Ever brand to Clarence House – the king’s London residence.
A royal commentator said that “tiny gestures like this are her way of showing compassion for what the king is going through”.
The king is receiving treatment for cancer.
Last night’s (May 8) VE Day 80 Concert, which featured a range of star-studded performers, left BBC viewers completely divided.
The huge extravaganza, which was presented by Zoe Ball, took place at Horse Guards Parade on Thursday evening to honour the 80th anniversary and was attended by 10,000 people and watched by many at home.
The line-up included many familiar faces, including Masked Singer winner Samantha Barks, Fleur East with the Strictly pro dancers, Calum Scott, and John Newman, to name a few. However, it seems not everyone was a fan.
VE Day Concert leaves BBC viewers divided
“Wasn’t that line up awful,” one user wrote on X, adding: “The Darkness, I always thought they were a comedy band like spinal tap, and rolling out Toploader? I know times were hard but what was the budget £50?”
“I thought the Darkness was an odd (and poor) choice for the #VEDay80 concert. Then John Newman came on. What on earth is this man doing? Someone take him down. Absolute tripe!” another shared.
“This VE Day concert is horrendous. Thought it was supposed to be a celebration. At least they knew how to party 80 years ago,” a third remarked.
“Am I the only one tonight thinking that the songs and artists were irrelevant for the #VEDayConcert on @BBCOne????” a fourth commented.
Line-up aside, some viewers complained about the vocal talent.
“I’ve never heard such atrocious singing in all my life…flat as [bleep],” one user insisted.
“I’m sorry but some of these singers are [bleep] poor,” another said.
“Am I the only one that’s watching the VE Day 80 celebrations on @BBCOne and thinking…meh. Could have, and should have been so much more to honour a momentous ocassion. Some songs and artists so irrelevant,” a third stated.
‘Pure, incontrovertible class’
It wasn’t all bad, however. Many people enjoyed the line-up and praised the talent.
“#freyaridings and #samanthabarks – pure, incontrovertible class. A far cry from the diarrhoea of #johnnewman,” one person declared.
“Victor Ray – what a voice. Talk about doing justice to an occasion,” another shared.
“Thought the #VEDayConcert was excellent,” a third expressed.
“Excellent concert. Fantastic line up. Stand outs were Samantha Barks, Tom Walker, Freya Ridings, Willard White & Dad’s Army cast,” a fourth wrote.

According to a former royal butler, the king would have likely sent a note to Meghan saying thank you.
Grant Harrold, who worked as a butler for Charles between 2004 to 2011, told Genting Casino: “King Charles would absolutely have sent a thank you note. No question.”
“He’s very, very particular about things like that. Whether it’s jam, honey, or anything else, if it’s a gift – especially from family – he will always respond properly,” he continued.
“Despite everything that’s gone on, he wouldn’t skip that kind of courtesy. It’s just who he is.”
