Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been accused of “committing sex crimes in the US” by a Republican congressman demanding greater accountability over Jeffrey Epstein’s associates.
Thomas Massie also called for a further three million files connected to the late convicted sex offender to be released.
He has also urged authorities to investigate and prosecute those accused of wrongdoing. The former Duke of York has consistently and vehemently denied wrongdoing over his relationship with the multimillionaire.
Andrew has also strongly denied ever sexually assaulting his accuser Virginia Giuffre.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor accused of ‘committing sex crimes in the US’
Earlier this year, Andrew found himself caught up in the scandal even more when his name repeatedly appeared in a batch of files relating to Epstein and his crimes.
In January, the US Justice Department released millions of documents connected to disgraced financier Epstein.
Being named or pictured among the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing.
Now, Mr Massie is demanding that another three million files relating to the Epstein case are made public.
Speaking to the US House of Representatives in Washington DC, he alleged: “We want perpetrators of these crimes to be investigated and prosecuted. And Prince Andrew, who committed sex crimes in the US.”
Virginia Giuffre’s allegations against Andrew
The late Virginia Giuffre claimed she was made to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions in the early 2000s when she was 17 after being trafficked by Epstein.
She said that one alleged encounter took place at Epstein’s New York mansion.
Another was alleged to have happened on Little Saint James, the island owned by Epstein and a US territory.
Mr Massie added: “Perhaps hearing these names will shame the Department of Justice into delivering justice.”
Andrew has always vehemently denied Ms Giuffre’s allegations.
In February 2022, Andrew and Ms Giuffre reached an out-of-court settlement after she sued him in a civil case in the US, accusing him of sexual assault.
They settled for an undisclosed sum. However, Andrew made it clear, by doing so, he did not accept any liability.
Ms Giuffre took her own life in April last year.
Andrew stripped of royal titles and honours
As the scandal continued to grow, Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and banished further from public life late last year. His brother King Charles initiated the formal process to have Andrew’s remaining royal titles and honours removed amid growing scrutiny.
Andrew’s life has since changed dramatically, with him being evicted from his home at Windsor’s Royal Lodge last year. Earlier this year, he moved to a farmhouse on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

In February, meanwhile, police arrested Andrew on suspicion of misconduct in public office. It came after allegations that he shared sensitive and confidential information with Epstein during his time as UK’s trade envoy, a role he held between 2001 and 2011.
Police released him under investigation hours later. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
