Diversity star Jordan Banjo has revealed he’s had a lot of surgeries due to boxing and dancing over the years, including one that sounds pretty gruesome!

Jordan rose to fame in 2009 when Diversity won Britain’s Got Talent. But over the years, his career has developed, and now he’s not just a dancer.

Alongside TV and radio work, Jordan has also been training to be a boxer. And the star took on his first-ever match last year, with more to come. But he got injured so badly that he required emergency surgery.

Jordan Banjo reveals ‘rupture’ that led to surgery

Last year, 32-year-old Jordan shared snaps form hospital, causing fans to grow concerned. And now, he has opened up about the surgery.

Speaking to The Sun about his injuries, Jordan admitted: “Yeah, so I tore my bicep. It was like a full rupture. So, I had surgery to reattach it.

“It was a complete tear, the kind that would put most people out of action for months. I had done a ligament in my hand which had to be repaired, so I couldn’t move my little finger. It just had to either move to be straight or move to be bend because the ligament had snapped.”

However, that didn’t stop him from competing back in May against Love Island star Will Anderson. And Jordan came out victorious. And he made it clear that now that his injury has “healed up” he following “strength and conditioning training” he will be boxing again.

Go steady, Jordan!

Jordan had already had surgery from Diversity injuries

Shockingly, his ruptured bicep wasn’t actually the first surgery that he had ever had.

Over the years, Jordan has had more than three surgeries all because of things that happened on the dance floor.

He explained: “I have had like three surgeries on my knees and surgeries on my ankle. I have snapped both of my thumbs catching Perri [Kiely] once. You know what I mean, so there is always little injuries and little niggles.”
