This Morning star Gok Wan was supported by his followers after he revealed he has ADHD.
The TV presenter, 50, admitted he is still coming to terms with the health diagnosis he received a few years back. That said, he shared that he has found an article that has been helping him.
Gok Wan issues health update
In an Instagram post yesterday (July 8), Gok uploaded a photo that read “ADHD and Grief.”
Within the caption, he opened up about his diagnosis. “I’ve not really spoken about my ADHD as it’s still something I’m learning to understand as I was diagnosed only a couple of years ago,” he wrote.
Gok continued: “Anyway, this morning I read an interesting article about GRIEF (which took me [bleep]ing forever – ADHD fam, IYKYK lol)… for anyone with ADHD and is grieving, this article may help.”
Gok attached a link to the article, which details how to navigate through both ADHD and grieving.
Last month, Gok announced he was “utterly heartbroken” following the death of his dog, Dolly. “My partner, my love, my baby and most of all my best friend. I love you with all my heart little Dishcloth,” he wrote.

‘So sorry for your loss’
Following the update, Gok’s followers rushed to share their support.
“Grief is hard for everyone but when you can’t quite process it in the same way as others, it becomes more than just grief… xx hugs,” one user wrote.
“Thank you. My dog past away in December and then my mum past away in February. Got diagnosed last Thursday. It’s a real rollercoaster as an adult as you grieve for your life – the help wasn’t there, diagnosed or not. So grateful we are all learning about neurodivergent beings and mental health. Sending hugs xx,” another shared.
“So sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing,” a third remarked.
“Big hugs Gok. I know you’re really missing Dolly. Xx,” a fourth said.
