Every surgical procedure Frankie Bridge has undergone – from ‘lip flip’ to under-eye filler

'You get judged for sharing and judged for not being honest'

| Updated:

TV star and singer Frankie Bridge opened up about her history of having cosmetic ‘tweakments’ in an honest Instagram post.

The What About Us hitmaker, who first rose to fame as one-eighth of S Club Juniors, later joined girl group The Saturdays, who achieved huge chart success.

After the band went their separate ways in 2014, Frankie, 36, formed a career in television and fashion and is currently a panelist on ITV’s Loose Women.

Over the years, Frankie has been known to reinvent her image with various hairstyles, fashion trends and beauty tips. However, following speculation, she has now confirmed she’s had some help when it comes to maintaining her age-defying looks…

Frankie Bridge on ‘tweakments’

While taking part in an Instagram Q&A with fans yesterday (August 19), one of Frankie’s followers asked: “What tweakments do you get? I’m also 36 and you look amazing!!! Share the secrets.”

In response, the chart-topper wrote: “Thank you. I always feel like this is a hard question to answer because you get judged for sharing and judged for not being honest. Ha.”

Frankie, who is married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, admitted to having Botox and revealed she’s also in the process of having Polynucleotides for her under eyes.

Polynucleotides are naturally-derived DNA fragments, often from fish, that are used in aesthetic treatments to stimulate skin regeneration and tissue repair. They work by activating cells to produce collagen and elastin, improving skin quality, reducing wrinkles, and addressing concerns such as acne scars and sun damage. Essentially, they act as a food or medicine for skin cells, promoting a more youthful and healthy appearance.

‘Nearly passed out’

Frankie also said she “tried under-eye filler 100 years ago and didn’t like it”. She didn’t like it so much that she “nearly passed out” three times.

“I have a little filler in my lips but started all over again last year. Had it all dissolved and now only have a little,” Frankie continued.

‘I’ve had a lip flip a few times’

The ITV star then revealed she had a “lip flip a few times”.

“Sometimes I like it. Sometimes I promise never again! I’m really bad at being consistent with my appointments.”

According to Cleveland Clinic, a lip flip is a “nonsurgical procedure that makes your lips appear fuller”, where Botox is injected into the corners of your mouth and the edges of your lips.

A lip flip causes the lips to subtly curl upwards and outwards to create the illusion of a fuller, more defined lip without the need for dermal fillers.

Frankie has also been having a laser treatment designed to address acne called Aviclear. “I have to say I’m really starting to see the benefits. Barely any spots,” she said.

As she offered fans some advice, she concluded: “My biggest tip would be to look after your skin. I never used to and I’d say that’s the biggest change I’ve made.”
