The first famous face to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing 2026 has seemingly been confirmed as Dani Dyer.
Reality star and podcaster Dani was one of the original celebs taking part in Strictly 2025. However, Dani had to pull out of the show just days before the first live performance after fracturing her ankle in rehearsals.
Her replacement, Love Island winner turned West End performer Amber Davies, was announced just 24 hours before the first live show aired.
But now, 2025 star Vicky Pattison has appeared to confirm that Dani will be taking part in the show next year…
Dani Dyer ‘confirmed’ for Strictly 2026
On Saturday (October 25), the remaining Strictly stars took to the dance floor to show off their best moves as part of Icons Week. Unfortunately for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, he became the latest celeb to get eliminated.
And in attendance was Dani, who was partnered with pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin originally. She was sat in the live studio audience cheering on her former castmates.
Taking to her Instagram after the show aired, Dani shared a slew of snaps of her pals, including Vicky Pattison and her pro partner Kai Widdrington.

Vicky lets slip 2026 Strictly star
In the caption, Dani Dyer said: “So happy I got to watch @bbcstrictly last night.. missed you all and so proud. And my beautiful @vickypattison just love you so much and watching you live was just PERFECT!! love you all loads.”
However, in the comments section of Dani’s post, current 2025 star Vicky appeared to let slip that Dani is appearing on next year’s Strictly series.
She wrote: “Love you so much mate my girl!!! I will be front row every week next year watching you SMASH IT.”
Dani’s ‘heartbreak’ over Strictly 2025 exit
When she announced her exit from Strictly, Dani described herself as “heartbroken” to leave the show. She said in a statement: “I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny.
“I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend. And after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.”
She went on: “Apparently doing the Quickstep on a fracture is not advisable. The doctors have said I am not allowed to dance, so I’ve had to pull out of the show.”
