Big Brother star Charley Uchea rushed to hospital after being ‘left for dead’ following car crash

Iconic Big Brother contestant Charley Uchea has revealed she was “left for dead” after a truck hit her car recently.

The 40-year-old reality star shared details of the terrifying incident on her Instagram.

Taking to Instagram recently, Charley, who shot to fame on Big Brother in 2007, revealed that she’d been involved in a car accident.

Posting to her Story for her 251k followers to see, Charley shared a snap of the damage a truck had done to her car.

The left-hand side of the car was damaged, with the headlight now non-existent.

“Look at the damage this truck did just by hitting me, then leaves me [for] dead on the side of the road,” she captioned the picture.

Charley also shared a video of herself in hospital.

In the video, the star can be seen with a neck brace on. She also has some cuts around her left eye.

This pain feels like I’m dying.

“Bless my nurse brushing my hair out. I can’t really use my arms atm I’m so weak,” she captioned the clip.

The star also later shared an update, revealing that she’s “bed-bound”.

“To think we were flying to Hawaii for my bday and now I’m bed-bound because I can’t walk or anything just in agony taking strong painkillers yes I’m lucky to be alive but this pain feels like I’m dying,” she wrote.

Charley on Big Brother

Fans of Big Brother will remember Charley from her stint on the show back in 2007. She featured in the same series as Brian Belo and Chanelle Hayes.

Charley, who hailed from South London and was 21 at the time, became known for her fiery temper and clashed with Chanelle several times over the course of the series.

The star was also involved in one of the show’s most famous twists, when she was fake evicted.

She exited the house to a silent crowd, before being informed by Davina that her “eviction” was all part of a twist.

Charley was eventually evicted on Day 59, finishing in 14th place.
