Yvette Fielding confesses she has been putting magnets in her knickers

A bit different..?

TV presenter Yvette Fielding made a bizarre confession to Lorraine Kelly today (Friday July 5) about the different things she’s tried to ease her menopause symptoms.

Yvette, 50, admitted that she’s tried all sorts of random methods to ease the pain – including magnets.

In an interview on Lorraine‘s morning talk show, the Most Haunted presenter, revealed that she’d even put magnets down her knickers!

They were discussing the struggles for older women having to go through the menopause, with Yvette confessing she has been “riddled with pain”, and that women aren’t told all the hidden problems that come with the change.

Whilst sharing old wives tales about home remedies you can experiment with to the ease the pain, Yvette made the bizarre confession.

“Has she tried the magnets in the knickers?” Yvette asked a very confused Lorraine.

Lorraine smirked and replied saying: “I have not tried magnets in the knickers… I don’t know if I want to attract certain things…”

“You clatter when you walk, Lorraine, let me tell you,” Yvette said.

She continued jokingly: “Can you imagine walking along when you’re in the saucepan bit of the supermarket and everything starts moving!?”

Finding it quite amusing, Lorraine asked whilst giggling: “Does it work?”

She sadly admitted that the peculiar attempt did not pay off and that women should “shy away from it”.
