After sharing a kiss on the dancefloor over the weekend (October 21) , Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola are the new hot topic on the Strictly gossip train.
Their sizzling paso doble certainly got tongues wagging, as the pro pulled Ellie in for a congratulatory peck after their most passionate dance yet. Taking to social media, one viewer declared: “What a partnership! Their chemistry is electrifying!” Another added: “I thought they were going to properly kiss then!”
So could a real romance be on the cards, or was it just showbiz? One relationship expert has had her say…
Ellie and Vito romance rumours
“It’s easy to see why people are speculating about a potential romance between Ellie and Vito, as their chemistry on the dance floor is undeniable,” claimed Louella Alderson, Heart Bingo‘s resident relationship expert and founder of dating app So Syncd.

“They move together with ease, and their performances are always captivating. It’s particularly evident in their recent routine, where they shared a kiss at the end.”
Louella also explained why Strictly can be a perfect match-making machine: “The situation certainly creates an environment conducive to potential feelings and emotional connections. With the long hours of training and close physical contact, it’s not surprising that some couples find themselves developing feelings for each other.
“Vito is a tactile person and is known for being affectionate with his dance partners on the show. Last year, he was affectionate with Fleur [East], although she was married. And there didn’t seem to be romantic feelings between them.”
However, she added: “That being said, it’s not impossible for a romantic relationship to develop between dance partners on Strictly. As two single individuals, Ellie and Vito are working towards a shared goal together. Their bond may continue to strengthen and intensify. And while it’s uncertain if there is a romantic relationship between them, it’s undeniable they make an incredible dancing duo.”

However, before we get carried away, Louella also made sure to remind us: “This is a dance performance. The choreography may require intimate moments between partners.
“It doesn’t necessarily mean there is a romantic relationship developing off-screen. As professionals, Ellie and Vito are skilled at portraying emotions and chemistry on the dance floor, regardless of their personal relationship with each other.
“Vito’s kiss at the end of their performance could have been a way to create buzz and generate interest in their routine,” she also suggested. She then noted: “It’s important to remember that dance partners can have a strong connection without it necessarily being romantic or sexual.”
