Children in Need 2025‘s line-up for the night has been revealed and it features everything from a Lewis Capaldi performance to a special mini episode of The Apprentice.
The televised charity fundraiser kicks off in less than two weeks and the bumper line-up is looking brilliant.
This year’s Children in Need presenters, including Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness, have already been announced and now all the skits and key performers have also been unveiled. Here’s what to expect.

Children in Need 2025: What’s on
Viewers will be treated to several mash-ups of BBC shows during this year’s Children in Need. And they all aim to bring laughs and raise millions of pounds on the night.
There will be a hilarious new take on The Apprentice, which will see the tables turned on Lord Alan Sugar. In this mini-show, Lord Sugar will be facing a grilling from a new set of junior apprentices in the boardroom.
And that’s not all, Children in Need viewers will also be given a sneak peek of the upcoming Celebrity Apprentice. The popular spin-off is returning for two episodes nearer to Christmas with 12 famous faces in the line-up.
It is hoped we will discover which celebrities are taking part in the show, which is also being made to raise money for Children in Need.
Gladiators fans will be delighted to hear there will be a new sketch during Children in Need, too. This year, some tiny but powerful Gladiators will be entering the arena. They will be taking part in an epic showdown with some of our favourites!
There will also be a Strictly Come Dancing sketch. The BBC is yet to reveal the exact details, but expect it to be a good one! Last year, children’s favourite Bluey took to the ballroom to help raise money for the charity.
The One Show’s Challenge Squad
Viewers will also see The One Show’s Challenge Squad on the night. The Challenge Squad is four inspirational young people who are taking on personal fundraising challenges for CiN 2025. They are all supported by the stars of The One Show, which airs on weeknights on BBC One at 7pm.
Among those is Lloyd. He is the youngest person ever with Down syndrome to complete a marathon. For Children in Need, he is taking on a gruelling triathlon over three days at the Olympic Park in London. Alex Jones, who is one of The One Show’s hosts, is mentoring Lewis.
Two other squad members will be completing their challenges on the night. Kat, who has cerebral palsy, will be performing a duet with singer Sam Ryder. Eloise will be donning skates and performing in the musical, Starlight Express.
The fourth member of The Challenge Squad is Jude, who has spina bifida. He will be facing The Great Northern Marathon Challenge with Radio 2 DJ, Sara Cox during the week.
Children in Need: Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi will be taking to the stage on the night. The Scottish singer is an avid supporter of Children in Need. In 2022, Lewis performed his hit song Forget Me during the appeal show.
It is not yet known which song Lewis will perform during his 2025 appearance, but it will definitely be worth tuning in for.
The BBC Children in Need Choir will also be providing music during the night. They will perform a special arrangement of Coldplay’s hit song, Yellow. This also happens to be Pudsey Bear’s favourite colour!
The choir is made up of 16 children who have been supported by Children in Need funded projects.

Sara Cox’s Great Northern Marathon challenge.
As mentioned above, Sara, 50, is embarking on a 135K trek to raise money for this year’s Children in Need. She is set to complete five marathons as she takes a Pudsey mascot from Kielder Forest on the Scottish borders to his spiritual home, Pudsey in Leeds.
Pudsey will be in her backpack as she runs, jogs and walks through sweeping moorland, steep ridges and the rolling hills of Northumberland.
Providing the challenge goes well (good luck, Sara, we are rooting for you!) she will be in Children in Need’s Salford studio on the night. There, Sara will discover exactly how much money she has raised for the charity.
When is BBC Children in Need 2025?
This year’s BBC Children in Need is on Friday November 14, 2015. The three-hour extravaganza will start at 7pm on BBC One.
The show will be broadcast live from Media City UK in Salford. It is definitely shaping up to be a good night!
