Trisha Goddard has issued an update to fans amid her incurable cancer battle.
The TV legend, 67, has secondary breast cancer – also known as metastatic or stage 4 breast cancer. Trisha – who recently appeared on Celebrity Big Brother – was diagnosed for the second time in 2022 – with the mum-of-two admitting this time it’s “not going away”.
Now, Trisha has left fans rallying around with support after she issued an update on Instagram.

Trisha Goddard issues update amid cancer battle
Last weekend, Trisha revealed she is experiencing Raynaud’s syndrome.
The NHS says this is “where your blood stops flowing properly to your fingers and toes”.
The presenter uploaded a photo of her affected fingers for her followers to see. Trisha also shared that she’s lived with Raynaud’s syndrome “mildly for years”. But it has intensified since being on chemotherapy.
“Sheesh… Anybody else dealing with pesky Raynaud’s?” she captioned the post.
Trisha on ‘painful’ syndrome
Trisha added: “If you do, here’s what happens when you forget to wear gloves when buying frozen food, and then go about putting it in your freezer, duh!”
She went on: “Had it mildly for years, but over a year of infusions and chemo every three weeks has ramped up my Raynaud’s quite a bit. Ouch!
“Here’s herself waiting for the painful fingers to go bright red, then blue, then icily grey/white before they eventually go back to normal.”
She continued: “Over the years, I’ve learned to adapt; for instance, I wear gloves while driving, so my car’s air conditioning doesn’t trigger Raynaud’s in my fingers.
“When I have a cold drink, I use a napkin to hold the glass and so on. BUT every so often I forget; the burning sensation starts and my fingers go painfully numb while they turn the colours of the Union Jack.”

Trisha’s fans send their support
Giving more information about the condition, Trisha explained: “Bit of info below folks, chemotherapy can induce or exacerbate Raynaud’s phenomenon, a condition where blood vessels in the fingers and toes temporarily narrow in response to cold or stress, leading to reduced blood flow.
“This condition can manifest as skin colour changes (white, blue, red), numbness and pain in the affected areas. While often temporary and resolving after chemotherapy, it’s important to manage and be aware of this side effect.”
Trisha’s fans soon rushed to the comments sections to send their support.
One person penned: “I have this too and it must be even more challenging with everything else you’ve got to deal with – so painful.”
Another fan wrote: “Bless you, sending love.”
