After pretending that the woman who’s dog he has been helping to train was elderly, Beth is fuming when she finds out that he has been lying.

In actual fact Sharon is much younger than Kirk made out, and it doesn’t take long for Beth to put two and two together and get five.
She’s so cross about Kirk keeping secrets, Beth’s imagination runs away with her and she accuses him of having an affair.
When Beth catches Sharon and Kirk together, she immediately accuses Mr Sutherland of playing away but Sharon thinks the accusations are hilarious.

Thoroughly enjoying every moment of Beth’s ill-judged rant, Sharon makes the whole situation far worse by complimenting Kirk on the new shirt that she bought for him.

As Beth gets more and more angry about her husband’s lies, it looks like she could be falling for scheming Sharon’s relationship meddling.
