It appeared Prince Harry could not keep his hands off his wife, Meghan Markle, on Thursday night as they attended an awards do together in New York.
Harry and Meghan headed to the Big Apple on October 9 to receive the Humanitarians of the Year Award by nonprofit organisation Project Healthy Minds, in recognition of their global mental health advocacy.
However, their PDA moments were a hit with fans who enjoyed watching the couple who claim to still be in their ‘honeymoon’ period.
Fan spots cheeky Prince Harry moment
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were true couple goals, as they walked the red carpet hand-in-hand dressed in matching black suits. And it seems they also couldn’t resist a bit of PDA while they were at it.
In a video shared by a fan on social media platform X, Harry and Meghan were shown posing for photos with Phil Schermer, the founder and CEO of Project Healthy Minds.
In her speech, Meghan reportedly spoke about the work their two teams had been doing “quietly” together behind the scenes.
An unfortunate angle captured the prince putting a cheeky hand on Meghan’s bottom before quickly moving it up to her hip, to the hint of a smile from the duchess.
“Harry, that hand….” Commented the eagle-eyed fan.
“He remembered he was in public at the right time,” Commented another shocked X user.
A third likewise said: “Hahaha this made me laugh, he can’t keep his hands off her” followed up by a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, others were less impressed by the attention this moment was getting.
“So now the man is not allowed to put his arms around his own wife without fans zooming in on repeat?” Commented one person.
Another person chimed in to agree: “AS HE SHOULD!”
Meghan picks up award in New York
Meghan’s outfit for the big occasion also got fans gushing.
The Duchess of Sussex accessorised her suit with a statement gold necklace, dainty earrings and a black clutch bag. She also debuted a new hairstyle, swapping out her trademark bun for a sleek ponytail.
The look has since received a great deal of attention on social media, with many fans showering her with compliments.
Meghan also made a sweet mention of her young children, Archie and Lilibet, as she accepted the couple’s award.
“Our children Archie and Lili are just six- and four-years-old. Can you believe it?” She apparently said as she opened her speech.
Seizing the moment to advocate for their online safety mission, she continued: “Luckily still too young for social media but we know that day is coming, and like so many parents, we think constantly about how to embrace technology’s benefits while safeguarding against the dangers.”
