Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood has announced his separation from wife Alexandra.
In a joint statement issued this evening, the former couple – who have been married for almost 20 years – said:

Paul and Alexandra share a teenage son.
They separated in 2013 after Paul admitted to an affair with Marcela Valladolid, his co-star on the US version of Bake Off.
Reuniting some months later, the Scouse baker described his infidelity as the biggest mistake of his life and said of his reunion with Alex: “I’m so lucky to have this chance.”
