Molly-Mae Hague has spoken candidly about the “exhaustion” she’s been feeling after a whirlwind few days that included a terrifying health scare and a birthday celebration in Paris.
The Love Island star, 26, admitted she’s been left drained after a busy period of travelling with partner Tommy Fury and their two-year-old daughter Bambi.
Molly-Mae Hague rushed to hospital
The drama began after the family returned from a trip to Dubai. Molly-Mae Hague experienced “severe pain” in her leg during the long-haul flight back to the UK.
Fearing a blood clot, she rushed to the hospital on her return, after being urged by NHS 111 to go straight to A&E.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Molly detailed the scary experience.
“Basically, yesterday I thought I had a blood clot,” the influencer explained. “And half of today, I thought I had a blood clot in my leg. The pain started in my leg, and then it moved to my knee and ankle. It felt really weird.”
She explained that the symptoms were worrying enough to prompt her to seek urgent medical attention.
“I called 111 because I had this numbness and they told me to go to A&E straight away. I was really concerned.”
Thankfully, after a full set of tests, Molly was given the all-clear, with doctors confirming there was “nothing that showed them any sort of concern or anything about a blood clot”.
Despite the relief, she urged her followers to always take blood clot symptoms seriously.
“Maybe I had one, maybe I didn’t. I read that blood clots can disperse by themselves and it’s not always going to be sinister. I do think it’s important to share it because you never really think it’s going to happen to you. I’m just happy to be feeling a lot better now. It does just feel like a bad dream what happened last night, so strange.”
‘Eyes red from hay fever and exhaustion…’
Despite the health scare, Molly didn’t slow down for long.
Just days after her hospital visit, she boarded a private jet to Paris to celebrate her 26th birthday with Bambi and a group of friends.
Her Instagram followers were treated to a glimpse of the lavish celebrations, with the plane decorated with cut-outs of Molly’s face, white and black balloons and a custom birthday cake.
The trip also included a visit to Disneyland Paris. Captioning a photo of her and Bambi at the park, she wrote: “26 today.”
She also posted a sweet snap of herself cradling Bambi on the floor, captioning it: “The most perfect birthday eve.”
But the celebrations came at a cost, with Molly admitting that the non-stop schedule was catching up with her.
Sharing a candid photo of herself at Disneyland, she wrote: “Eyes red from hay fever and exhaustion… but what a day.”
