I’m A Celebrity’s Joel Dommett announces his engagement

Such a cute way to share the news

Comedian and I’m A Celebrity darling Joel Dommett is engaged to his model girlfriend Hannah Cooper, he has revealed.

The former I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! contestant shared a clip of a toilet lock changing from vacant to engaged in an Instagram post.

He tagged Hannah – a model signed to Next Model Management in London.

She also shared the post which comes almost a year to the day after they first met.

They reportedly started dating after Hannah messaged Joel on Instagram following his appearance in the jungle last December.

Earlier this week Hannah posted a series of snaps of the pair and wrote: “Same time. Same place. 365 Days later.”

In a matching post Joel wrote: “Happy one year anniversary to @hannah_cooper_ – I fell in love with you when I realised that under your stupidly pretty face you are horrifically uncool. Thanks for being ace.”

Joel returned to Australia this year to host the I’m A Celebrity extra camp alongside Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash.

It’s been quite the Christmas for celeb engagement announcements.

Corrie’s Shayne Ward popped the question to baby mamma Sophie Austin – and So naturally the answer was ‘yes’.

Hats off to Shayne for how he announced the news – just a simple and elegant shot of his betrothed’s hand, wearing the – very lovely, we should point out – sparkler.

The pic on Instagram was simply captioned: #MrsWardtobe.

The actor couple became proud parents to their first child Willow May last December.

Former X Factor champ Shayne took to fatherhood like a duck to water.

He gushed to the Daily Mirror: “It is my sole purpose. Everything else in life is a hobby.”

He added: “People say I was born to sing, but I think I was born to be a dad.”

Former Hollyoaks star Sophie shared an hilarious snap of the couple’s families celebrating Boxing Day – with a novel way of protecting their little daughter’s identity!
