Casualty fans shocked as song in background of the scene drops F-bomb

Expletive could be clearly heard in background song

BBC Saturday night drama Casualty dropped a major clanger by accidentally airing the F-bomb, leaving viewers shocked.

Just five minutes in to last night’s episode, half an hour before the 9pm watershed, the expletive could be clearly heard in a song in the background.

It happened as Barry went to get his nails done in a salon where Scottish pop group Chvrches’ 2013 hit The Mother We Share was playing on the stereo.

Fans heard the uncensored lyrics: “I bet you even know, where we could go.

“And when it all [bleeps] up, you put your head in my hands.”

One stunned viewer posted on Twitter: “Anyone notice the ‘f’ bomb in The Mother We Share by @chvrches in the background on #Casualty? This is becoming a habit.”

Last night’s explosive storyline saw the owner of the salon locking people up in the basement.
