Cruz Beckham and girlfriend Jackie Apostel ended up at a pub after their car broke down.
In a TikTok exchange, the 21-year-old answered a follower who compared their predicament to an episode of Top Gear. He replied: “Oh we’re stuck alright, currently at a pub waiting for a cab whilst the car is in the shop.”
Other followers offered jokes rather than mechanical advice. One played on his name with a gag about cruise control.
Another said they had passed the couple and tried to ask whether help was on its way. The fan said Cruz was on the phone at the time.
