Rihanna’s cousin died on Boxing Day after being shot in Barbados.
The devastated singer announced the news on social media as she shared a picture of her with Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, who was just 21.

The 29-year-old then begged for an end to gun violence.
Her fans showered the pop star in condolences, as they echoed her plea to stop the killings.
“So sorry 💔 my heart goes out to you and the family 🙏🏼,” wrote one.
Another said: “May he rest in peace, all my prayers goes out to you❣️”
Rihanna had posted 11 hours before making the sad announcement to tell fans that she hadn’t been feeling well.
