Nicolas Cage (again) – Albino King Cobras
In addition to his octopus, Nicolas Cage also thought it was a good idea to acquire two albino king cobras (for $276,000, fact fans).
The two cobras, Moby and Sheba, were also bought to help with his acting (apparently) but the actor revealed in an interview that he had to sell the snakes because Sheba hated him.
“She [Sheba] hated my guts,” he said. “Whenever I would go in the room, she would show me her back. She would start to sway back and fourth in a rhythmic motion.”
The thesp believes that Sheba was trying to hypnotise him because, after swaying for a while, she would suddenly lunge at him in an attempt to attack.
