The Masked Singer is kicking off 2023 with a whole new cast of characters for a new series of the competition!
Join Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan in guessing who all these characters are as we hear new voices and clues.
Here are all the new characters for The Masked Singer.
Fawn joins The Masked Singer 2023
First, in the line-up – it’s Fawn!
ITV shares that they are “fawn to be wild”.
We don’t have any early clues as to who this could be, but we can’t wait till we do!
Jacket Potato
Jacket Potato is the next to join the line-up!
Complete with a potato head, a tin foil and beans suit and take-away box shoes, Jacket Potato is here to impress.
Any early guesses as to who this spud could be?
The Masked Singer 2023 characters: Piece of Cake
Following Natalie Imbruglia‘s win last year, Piece of Cake hopes to take the cake too – literally!
Piece of Cake is complete with a cherry and icing head with cupcake shoes.

Pigeon joins the ITV show
Pigeon is another character joining The Masked Singer 2023.
In an impressive Pigeon costume, this celeb is complete with a pair of specs and tartan shoes.

Phoenix also joins The Masked Singer
Next for this year’s panel of guessers to decipher is Phoenix!
Looks like this impressive Phoenix costume will be taking over the stage.

Rhino joins the ITV show
In this huge costume – it’s Rhino!
Davina McCall even teases that Rhino’s performance made her cry! She shares: “Rhino has been particularly emotive. There are people who completely draw you in.
“It’s lucky for Rhino, actually, that they can pull some emotion out of the bag, because it’s very, very hard in that costume to give us anything at all.
“They are massive, and they are quite humble. They keep putting their little hooves together, it looks so sweet. If it’s possible to have a sweet rhino, this is it.”

We’re sure they won’t be but this is Rubbish!

The Masked Singer: Knitting
Knitting is joining The Masked Singer this year!
This celeb is under a HUGE costume, swapping the wool for a microphone.
Could Otter be the winner?
This adorable Otter is also joining the show!
Mo Gilligan singles Otter out as one of his favourites: “And then there’s Otter, I love otters, one of my favourite animals. Otters have a stone that they have to smash clams, so ours has little pockets for the stones on the costume.”

Joining the show as the first duo – it’s Cat & Mouse!
Last year, The Masked Dancer had its first duo and now The Masked Singer follows suit with Cat & Mouse.
Footballer David Seaman and Dancing on Ice star Frankie Poultney turned out to be The Masked Dancer‘s first duo.
But who could be under this duo’s costumes?
Joel Dommett says it’s a challenging guess: “Cat and Mouse! They are great. Weirdly, you would’ve thought, because there are two of them, it’d be easier to guess, but it’s harder, I think.
“It’s really difficult, because there are two of them, you can’t hear the voice as much.”
