Strictly Come Dancing: Current leaderboard and the Halloween Week dances and songs we know so far

This weekend is a Strictly spooky special

Strictly Come Dancing is getting its freak on with Halloween Week – and here are the dances and songs we already know.

The remaining celebrities will be taking to the ballroom for the spooky special and will have costumes and music to match.

But who is top of the current leaderboard? And what are the couples dancing to? Here’s what we know about Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween Week so far.

Strictly Come Dancing: Halloween Week dances

Strictly bosses are once again remaining quite tight-lipped about this weekend’s dances. But we do already know some of the Halloween Week performances!

Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer are hoping to bring some mystique to the ballroom. The Olympic sprinter and Gladiator – aka Nitro – will be dancing an American Smooth. Harry and Karen’s chosen track is Mystical Magical by Benson Boone.

Karen Carney and Carlos Gu are also looking forward to darker performance. The retired footballer and Carlos will be doing an Argentine Tango this weekend. They are yet to reveal their song, but the performance will be themed on the hit BBC show, Peaky Blinders.

Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington have also made it through to Halloween Week. The Geordie reality star will be dancing to Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. Vicky and Kai will be doing an American Smooth, like Harry and Karen.

Meanwhile, Ellie Goldstein and Vito Coppola are through as well. Ellie has started the week at the centre of rumours she has left the show, but she already has plans for Saturday’s live Halloween performance.

Appearing in Sunday night’s Strictly Come Dancing: The Results, she and Vito spilled some details. The pair did not confirm their song or exact dance, but they did reveal the theme.

Ellie told Strictly’s Claudia Winkleman that she would be taking on the role of a magician for Halloween Week. Vito will be her rabbit that pops out of her hat.

We are yet to hear from Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe about their song and dance, and La Voix and Aljaž Škorjanec. Other stars who have not confirmed their routines or songs are Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon and Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin.

Watch this space, though. We will update you as soon as we know!

Strictly Come Dancing’s current leaderboard

Icons Week finished with Lewis and Katya at the top of the Strictly leaderboard. The pair ended the night with 34 points for their Quickstep.

Amber and Nikita, and Vicky and Kai, finished in joint second. Both couples scored 33 points. Alex and Johannes ended in third place with a score of 32 for their Foxtrot.

It was joint fifth for Harry and Karen, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley. They both got 30 marks from the judges.

A whopping four couples finished in joint second from the bottom. They were Balvinder and Julian, Karen and Carlos, Ellie and Vito and La Voix and Aljaž. All four received 28 points each.

George Clarke and Alexis Warr were bottom of the leaderboard in Saturday night’s Icons Week show. The pair did a Jive and social media star George channelled Harry Styles. They got 27 marks from the judges.

Strictly Come Dancing: Who left?

Despite finishing the night in second place on the leaderboard, Amber and Nikita ended up in the dance-off following the public vote. The West End star and Nikita had performed an Ariana Grande-themed Cha0-cha-cha.

They were in the bottom two with Jimmy and Lauren. Both couples performed again but the judges voted unanimously to save Amber and Nikita, meaning Jimmy and Lauren have now left the BBC show.

Amber has since spoken out and admitted she “cried” when watching back her dance-off in the pre-recorded Strictly: The Results show.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this weekend. Halloween Week will air on Saturday November 1 on BBC One at 6.35pm.
