Strictly Come Dancing: Chris Ramsey eliminated in semi-final

He battled Karim Zeroual in the dance-off

The three celebrities in next week’s Strictly Come Dancing final have been revealed, as comedian Chris Ramsey was kicked out in the semi-final results show.

Soap stars Kelvin Fletcher and Emma Barton will battle it out for the Glitter Ball trophy alongside presenter Karim Zeroual and their respective pro dancers.

Karim found himself in the dance-off opposite Chris, as the judges and viewers’ votes combined put them in the bottom two.

Dad-of-one Chris was bookies’ fave to get the boot from the BBC show tonight, at Coral, Bet365 and Ladbrokes.

When Chris discovered he was in the dance-off, he predicted his own exit, quipping: Against Karim? Shall we just call it an early night and go home?”

Chris and Karen Hauer went first in the dance-off, performing their Rumba from Saturday night again, while Karim and Amy Dowden followed with their American Smooth.

All judges agreed that Karim should be saved. Viewers were sad to say goodbye to Chris.

One posted on Twitter: “Aww bless Chris. Such a nice bloke.”

Another wrote: “Chris AND Karen have both been absolute stars this year, the series would have been worse off without them.”

A third said: “Chris, your Strictly experience has been an absolute joy to watch every week. Well done!”
