GMB guest leaves viewers distracted with ‘messy’ cupboards

Some thought it was 'not very professional'

GMB had a guest on whose cupboards distracted viewers during a debate on new lockdown rules for the under-40s.

On Good Morning Britain today (Tuesday, August 11), hosts Kate Garraway and Adil Ray had guests on to talk about possibly of allowing younger people to go about their lives like they did before the coronavirus lockdown.

What did GMB viewers say about the guest’s cupboards?

The hope is that letting those who aren’t particularly vulnerable get back to normal will get the economy moving again.

But as the debate got underway, many of those watching were distracted by the “messy” view behind one of the guests.

Behind Dr Sonia Adesara was a set of cupboards, jars and packets of food and other kitchen bits visible.

Viewers said the “cluttered” cupboards needed a good tidy, while others were confused over the way they were organised.

Others joked they couldn’t listen to somebody who didn’t have cupboard doors.

It’s making me anxious.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Fancy putting those messy food cupboards in your Zoom screen. Not very professional…”

Another said: “Her cupboards are too cluttered and disorganised. Cat biscuits next to Nutella. It’s making me anxious #gmb.”

A third tweeted: “#GMB state of her cupboards.”

‘Sort your cupboards out’

Someone else said: “Oh give it a rest love and tidy your cupboard #gmb.”

“Has she got cat biscuits next to her Nutella?” asked a fifth.

“I don’t listen to anybody that’s not got cupboard doors. #gmb,” tweeted another.

One viewer who called them “scruffy” added: “Sort your cupboards out… #GMB.”

On Good Morning Britain recently, Kate opened up about asking doctors if she could help her husband – who remains in a serious condition in hospital with health issues related to COVID-19 – by donating blood plasma.
