I’m a Celebrity… rumoured to be chasing someone once very close to Cheryl…

They are apparently hoping for some juicy gossip in the jungle!

| Updated:

Their marriage was over quicker than you could say ‘Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’.

But while Cheryl and her French ex Jean-Bernard may not have lasted long, he’s apparently still hot property to TV bosses eager for gossip on her.

The only problem is, while JBFV may be inundated with offers to appear on television shows, he’s pretty reluctant.

Especially those that he feels only want him to blab about his ex.

The latest offer to come the restuaranteur’s way? I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The jungle-based reality show can be a tough sell to even the most fame hungry of famous faces, what with its spider-crawling, grub-eating nastiness.

He may not enjoying discussing his pop star ex, but one thing he’s more than happy to chat about is his work.

“I’m actually in love with my work,” he says. “I’m married to my work. I think about my work all the time.”

JB was then asked about whether he gets TV offers or not. And it seems that he does. In quite some abundance too.

He says, “Yeah. I get a lot, actually! It’s funny, huh? I’ve been asked to do the… I think it’s happening in the jungle?”

After being asked if he meant I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Jean-Bernard clarified his answer by saying: “I think so. That’s not what I aspire to do. I’m a businessman, not a reality star.”

He goes on. “A lot of offers went to my representative, but they stopped presenting them to me,” he says.

So it looks as though we might not be seeing the dishy Frenchman on our screens any time soon… Which is a bit of a shame.

Still, we imagine the news comes as some relief to Cheryl and Liam. After all, who wants to see their ex or their other half’s ex parading about the place every night for a fortnight?

So he won’t be found in the jungle later this year. Where will Jean-Bernard be hanging out, then? Well, at work in one of his restaurants.

Either that or he might be enjoying a coffee of beer sat outside a Parisian cafe. He is a ladies man, after all.

“French girls are better. They are like Upper East Side girls,” he once said. ”You know, long dates and complicated relationships. Beautiful.”

Yet he married a girl from South Shields, who rather quickly said au revoir to him…
