Furious Emmerdale fans have all been saying the same thing as Liam Cavanagh was arrested after Meena‘s claims he tried to kill her.
This week, Meena kidnapped Billy and Dawn, shot Leyla, attacked Harriet and hid Lucas away.
When Liam found out his daughter’s murderer was back in the village he went after her.
However as Meena began bragging about how she killed Leanna and enjoyed it, Liam saw red and pushed her off the humpback bridge.
In last night’s episodes (Thursday, February 17) Meena was taken to hospital and revived.
Meanwhile, Liam’s wife Leyla was in hospital.

Meena claimed Liam hadn’t pushed her in self defence. She said he just wanted her dead.
Liam was arrested for the attempted murder of Meena. While being questioned Liam told police that Meena was clearly a psychopath.

Meena insisted that Liam was hellbent on killing her and he was trying to get a confession out of her.
However viewers were left questioning why the police were so focused on questioning Liam and not on Meena, who has committed multiple crimes.
The cops arresting Liam for Meena's attempted murder is laughable. After everything Meena has done and all the lies she has told, they believe HER?! (I know she's technically telling the truth but still…) Just let this madness end. #Emmerdale

There was no evidence to charge Liam with the attempted murder of Meena so he was let go.
Later the police came to see Meena. They told her they were satisfied there was no further investigation to be made with Liam.
They then explained to Meena she was being discharged from ICU and taken into police custody.
Will she finally be charged or will she get away with murder?

What happens next?
Emmerdale star Paige Sandhu teased during an appearance on This Morning earlier this week that this isn’t the last we’re going to hear from Meena.
She said: “It’s the beginning of the end, but there’s more drama to come.”
We all know how manipulative Meena can be, how far will she go to get out of this?
Will she finally go down for her crimes? Or might she manage to talk her way out of it all – or even frame someone else?
