Coronation Street fans are worried that Tim and Sally Metcalfe could both be set for an affair after the arrival of Trisha.
Last night on the cobbles (Monday, October 6), Tim bumped into an old flame from the 80s.
Sally the found out that Tim had been having a drink with Trisha instead of coming home for their anniversary celebrations.
Tim reunites with Trisha in Coronation Street
In the Freshco carpark, Tim got a surprise when a woman he recognised peered into his car window.
He then realised that the woman was Trisha Parkinson – now Trisha Marlow. He used to date her back in the 80s when he was a kid.
Despite it being his and Sally’s anniversary, Tim went out for drinks with the lads. When Trisha turned up at the Rovers, he then took the time to catch up with her.
After only just reminiscing on his former marriage to Sally in the morning, Kevin tried to look out for his ex-wife and good friend. As he watched Tim Metcalfe interact with Trisha, he made his disapproval clear.
It wasn’t long before Sally found out where Tim had been and ordered him to spend the night on the sofa.
Coronation Street fans predict Sally and Tim affair chaos
With the arrival of Trisha, Coronation Street fans have now predicted that Tim will reconnect with his former lover in more ways than one. And, we shouldn’t feel too bad for Sally though, because she’ll apparently be getting it on with ex-husband Kev.
One fan on X wrote: “I sense an affair coming between Tim and Trisha. Especially after that chat between Kevin and Sally.”
Another questioned: “Why do I get the feeling they’re setting up Sally and Kev for a re-coupling with the iffy Tim thing?”
A third championed: “Kevin and Sally should have an affair, I love her and Tim but they’re OG.”
Coronation Street usually airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
