Anita Booth joined Coronation Street tonight (Monday, October 6) as Tim’s blast from the past, Trisha Marlow.
Her arrival sparks a new storyline for Tim Metcalfe as he comes to terms with what happened in his childhood.

Anita Booth has joined the cast of Coronation Street as newcomer, Trisha Marlow.
She’s a blast from Tim’s past, with Tim remembering her as being called Trisha Parkinson before she was married.

This evening, Trisha recognised Tim Metcalfe at the Fresho car park as she peered into his car window.
Tim took a short moment to recognise her but his memory eventually came back to him.
It turned out that Trisha was someone Tim used to date back in the 80s.
After this encounter, Trisha then turned up at the Rovers and had a drink and a catch up with Tim.
The problem was that Tim had cancelled his anniversary plans with Sally Metcalfe to hang out with the lads. But, instead he ended up chatting to his ex…
Kevin watched the pair interact and was livid, telling Tim that Sally wouldn’t be impressed. And, he was right with his predictions.
When Tim returned home, Sally told Tim that he could sleep on the sofa while she had a nice bath and an early night.
What’s to come for Trisha on the cobbles?
In upcoming spoilers, Trisha continues to make up for lost time with Tim but Sally’s not impressed when she finds Trisha at the cab office.
Sally makes it clear to Trisha that she is Tim’s wife.
Later on, Tim admits to Brian that he and Trisha used to date when he was 14 and Trisha was 20.
Brian tries to open Tim’s eyes up to the idea that he was groomed as a child.
Sally later finds out about the difference in age as Tim tells her that an older Trisha took his virginity when he was just 14.

She actually also starred in Coronation Street before for one episode back in 2012 where she played the role of Nadine who dined at the Bistro.
