Why The Celebrity Traitors isn’t on BBC One tonight and when you can watch The Final and Uncloaked

Fans hoping to tune in will be gutted!

The Celebrity Traitors is poised to reach its climax – but fans hoping to watch tonight are in for disappointment, as it is not on.

The spin-off series, which began with 19 famous faces, now has just five celebrities remaining.

Jonathan Ross has been rumbled, leaving behind fellow Traitors Alan Carr and Cat Burns, although they are also close to being unmasked as Traitors by the remaining Faithfuls.

But why isn’t The Celebrity Traitors on tonight? And when can you tune in to The Celebrity Traitors: The Final? Here, we answer your burning questions!

The Celebrity Traitors: Why isn’t it on tonight?

Fans expecting to watch The Celebrity Traitors tonight will not be happy. It is not in its usual 9pm slot on BBC One.

Since its launch on Wednesday October 8, the series has aired every Wednesday and every Thursday on the Beeb. Not tonight, though! The brand new series of BBC crime drama Shetland is in its place.

The BBC had previously confirmed The Celebrity Traitors would only have nine episodes. This is three eps shorter than the standard series of The Traitors. Series 1, 2 and 3 of the civilian version all had 12 episodes.

It was initially presumed the final of The Celebrity Traitors would air last Friday, on October 31. This would see the final three episodes run consecutively across three nights. But a new instalment of Have I Got News For You was in the Friday 9pm slot.

Fans then expected the final to air tonight. But instead, Shetland is stealing the airwaves…

When is The Celebrity Traitors: The Final?

Given all the speculation, the BBC confirmed on October 16 when the final of The Celebrity Traitors would air. It was revealed fans would be left hanging an entire week for the last episode.

Episode 8, which was the penultimate of the series, ended at 10pm on Thursday October 30. Faithful Joe Marler looked set to rumble the Traitors, after working out Alan and Cat are the remaining culprits.

But viewers have been waiting patiently (or rather, impatiently) to see if he can convince fellow Faithfuls Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga of his assumptions.

Thankfully, the wait is almost over. The Celebrity Traitors: The Final will air tomorrow, on Thursday November 6, 2025. And to make up for it, it will be a bumper 70 minutes long rather than the usual hour.

A BBC statement confirmed: “The series is set to conclude on Thursday November at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer, where fans will be treated to a 70 minute episode.

“The celebrities have been playing for the chance to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charities, but will the Faithfuls banish all of the Traitors to secure victory, or will the Traitors manage to deceive until the bitter end?”

When is The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked on again?

No episode of The Celebrity Traitors tonight also means there is no episode of spin-off show Uncloaked either. But, host Ed Gamble will be returning with a very special Uncloaked show tomorrow.

Ed will be joined by the Celebrity Traitors cast for the special finale show. Yippee! Host Claudia Winkleman will also be on Uncloaked.

Together, the gang will discuss their experiences on The Celebrity Traitors and the all the antics – both on and off screen. Rather than its usual 30 minutes, the last Uncloaked will be 45 minutes long.

It starts at 10.10pm on BBC Two and BBC Sounds, as soon as The Final finishes. The show will end at 10.55pm. We may be having to wait, but it will all be worth it!
