Michelle Connor and Robert Preston find themselves under attack in next week’s Coronation Street.
Is it drug dealer Rich out for revenge? And just how far will he go to make Robert pay?
After Rich stabbed Chesney and tried to force Robert into laundering dirty money through the restaurant, Robert set him up with the police and had his old mate arrested.

But unfortunately for Robert and Michelle it turns out that was just the start of their problems as it seems someone is now targeting them and their business.
It begins when Michelle sees someone has spray-painted ‘RIP’ on the Bistro wall. Nice.
She sets about scrubbing off the graffiti and decides to get Pat Phelan to fit some new locks to keep the place extra safe.
But it turns out that isn’t enough to actually help as later on that week, Robert and Michelle are heading to the Bistro when they see a youth hurling a Molotov cocktail at the building.
As the firebomb hits, the door is engulfed in flames and Robert’s attempts to catch the guy responsible end in him losing the chase and therefore getting no answers as to who the person is and why he’s done this.
It then turns out Robert was mugged while out in town the previous night and it all starts to fit together – someone is doing these things to them.
Doing the right thing in soap is often not the path characters choose to go down, but the couple aren’t too afraid to report the incidents to the police and insist that Rich is behind it all. But without proof, can they get anything done about it?

Speaking to Digital Spy, Michelle’s alter ego, Kym Marsh, revealed: “Michelle knows that Rich is a very dangerous man who knows some very dangerous people, so she is terrified.
“She has seen what he is capable of, so I think she has every reason to be terrified.”
But the actress insists Michelle isn’t tempted to leave Robert: “That is the last thing on her mind. She is determined they will deal with this together.
“She loves Robert and he was there for her when she needed him most, so she is not going to give up on him when he needs her.
“But I think things are going to get a lot worse for Michelle.”
