Pregnant Giovanna Fletcher has revealed she suffered a fracture after stubbing her toe – ouch!
The best-selling author, 33, shared a photo to Instagram showing one foot in a medical boot after suffering the painful injury on Thursday morning.
She told fans: “Hands up if you were running around like a busy bee this morning, stubbed your toe, fractured said toe, missed sports day and are now donning a fancy new boot… 🙋🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😫 silly silly silly.”

Giovanna added: “There have been no tears yet. Just lots of swearing.”

Fans were quick to send their well-wishes to the star, with many saying they knew just how painful a fractured toe can be.

One wrote: “Oh no! My mum did something similar at the beginning of the year… so frustrating and painful.”
Another said: “Oh sweetheart!! I feel your pain, I’ve been there. So easily done. Sending big hugs and love x.”
A third added: “Oh no! You poor thing – only thing to do in that situation is sit on the couch and eat chocolate and be minded! Has to be done.”
While a fourth said: “Awww no Hun… that will slow you down for a few days. Take care lovely lady.”
Giovanna’s brother, TOWIE star Mario Falcone, meanwhile, decided to make a joke, quipping: “Let me paint the sole of the boot red… Lou-boot-ins… no one will know.”

Giovanna and her husband, McFly musician Tom Fletcher, are expecting their third child.
They’re already parents to sons Buzz, four, and two-year-old Buddy, and have said they won’t find out the sex of their third child before its birth.
After a recent scan, Giovanna updated fans by saying: “We’ve been to see the midwives, chatted to the lovely lady who helped bring Buddy into the world (and insisted I write a book – I did), and then had a scan…
“Nut is doing very well in there! And no, we aren’t finding out whether it’s a girl or a boy. It’ll be a lovely surprise either way! Xxx.”
Giovanna has been busy in the run up to her third child’s birth: she and Tom have been on the promo trail for their co-authored book, The Eve of Man.
After the book was released, she told fans: “EVE OF MAN has been the perfect project to collaborate with Tom on – born out of a conversation of ‘what ifs’ and an idea we simply couldn’t shake off. I hope you all enjoy the first book in the trilogy!”
