Owain reveals he’s ‘off work for a bit’
Owain went on to reveal he will be taking a break from work to recover at home. And will be cared for by his husband Arran Rees.
He explained: “I’m off work for a bit recovering – being cared for by Nurse Franny and Dr Arran (who despite not being a medical doctor is doing a good job).
“We’re lucky to have the NHS. It’s helped my family so much over the years with ongoing cancer care for my father and MS for my mother, as well as quite literally saving Arran’s life when he was a child. Thank goodness we have it xx.”
Sending you love for a speedy recovery.
What’s more, Owain’s fellow showbiz pals flooded the comments section with well wishes.
Fellow Radio 2 star Sara Cox also said: “Only you could rock a hospital gown off one shoulder. Symmetrical is huge this autumn. Sending you love for a speedy recovery.”
Zoe Ball, who used to host on Radio 2, also said: “Heal well, darling chap.” Meanwhile, Magic Radio’s Gaby Roslin commented: “Sending huge love and get well soon lovely.”
