Hilaria Baldwin gave birth to her third child on Monday.
But two days later she was already proudly flaunting her post-baby body.
The 32-year-old wife of actor Alec Baldwin took to Instagram to share a mirror selfie of her wearing nothing more than her underwear on Wednesday morning.
The new mom went on to claim the image was not to brag about her body, but to prove a point about body image and challenge herself by documenting the changes in her body.
Hilaria wrote to her 184,000 followers : ‘I took this yesterday when Leonardo was about 24 hours old. I did the same thing right after Rafael was born.
‘It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and promote healthy self esteem.’
The yogi goes on to say that her followers know her obsession with documenting a body’s progression and how she promotes good diet along with exercise.
Hilaria continued: ‘So from here on, I want to dedicate the majority of my #366daysoflivingclearly #hilarialcm daily posts to getting back in shape and I invite you to do it with me.’
In the photo she could be seen wearing a black bra with a pink pattern on it with matching panties as she took the make-up free picture in the mirror of a hospital restroom.
She even answered a few frequently asked questions about the birth as she revealed she did not have a C-section.
Hilaria was asked where the pads for post-birth bleeding were and she responded: ‘I took them out briefly to snap this pic as there is a limit to how much you need to see.’
Earlier in the day, 30 Rock actor Alec also took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of Hilaria along with their three-year-old daughter Carmen and one-year-old son Rafael surrounding new family member Leonardo Ángel Charles Baldwin.
He posted another photo later the same day of holding his newborn son with the simple caption ‘Leoncito’
On Monday Hilaria took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of her newborn son.
Alongside a photo of her cradling her little boy, who was born in New York on Monday, Hilaria wrote: ‘We are so pleased to introduce you to our new baby, Leonardo Ángel Charles Baldwin.
