Emily Andre reveals truth behind ‘boozy night’ with Peter

A picture does not always tell the full story

Emily Andre has set the record straight following the claim she and husband Pete enjoyed a merry night on the town last week.

Photos published of the pair leaving the OK Magazine Beauty Awards showed Peter, 44, clutching a bottle of vodka and struggling to keep his eyes open as he walked to their car.

But they always say a picture doesn’t tell the full story, right?

Which is pretty much what happened here as Emily, 28, used her OK! magazine column to point out she and Peter are both teetotal so any suggestion they’d had a booze-fuelled night was totally wrong.

She wrote: “We were laughing so much at the pictures of Pete looking ‘bleary eyed’ leaving the event after apparently ‘drowning his sorrows’.

“We are both teetotal so I can confirm no alcohol was consumed!”

Emily said the bottle of vodka was simply a gift they were given at the event, and it would go into their already jam-packed alcohol cabinet to be used when friends and family visited over Christmas.

The doctor confirmed she doesn’t drink at all – and knows nothing about booze.

So much so, she nearly emptied a £200 bottle of red wine into a recent beef bourguignon. Er, close call there, Em!

Emily added: “After having children you realise the awful hangovers are just not worth it! I much prefer waking up with a clear head.”

The pair are parents to daughter Amelia, three, and son Theo, one.

Pete’s also dad to Junior, 12, and Princess, ten, from his marriage to ex-wife Katie Price.

Meanwhile, in other Peter news, he recently denied claims he demands an outrageous rider while doing personal appearances.

It was alleged his list of requests included three-course gourmet dinners for his crew, towels of a specific colour and size, and a huge range of different alcohol.

However, a rep for Pete denied the claims to Metro, saying they were “far-fetched” and pointing out, as Emily said, the singer doesn’t even drink.
