They pop up again in a second trailer, which is set to air on ITV this week.

This year once again brings back a line up of much loved I’m A Celebrity alumni.

And they all have their eyes on one thing, being crowned the next I’m A Celebrity Legend.

So when can we expect it on our screens? Here is everything we know so far.

I’m A Celebrity South Africa 2026 trailers

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were treated to a surprise over the weekend when a brand new I’m A Celebrity trailer aired during the ad break.

Ant and Dec sit in the dark sipping a hot drink around a campfire when a loud roar cuts through the night.

A startled Ant asks: “What was that?!”

Dec points calmly into the distance and reassures him: “It was just a big cat.”

Ant leaps up and fires back: “A big cat? No way!”

He promptly runs off, with Dec close behind.

The Geordie duo have also filmed a second trailer. Once again, they are by the campfire when Ant yawns and says: “Night, night.”

Dec replies: “Don’t let the bed bugs bite. Or the ticks and the mozzies. And the scorpions, and the sand spiders and the Kudus or the baboon…”

That clip will roll out across ITV this week.

Fans have been whipped into a frenzy, especially after the first trailer was posted on ITV’s Instagram.

And they are all making the same plea. When does I’m A Celebrity South Africa actually start?

One follower wrote: “Yay can’t wait. @itv just give us a date already been looking forward to this.”

Another added: “Can’t wait guys, when?” A third simply posted: “WHEN!!!

Who is taking part?

I’m A Celebrity South Africa has already been filmed, which means we have a solid idea of who could be heading into camp.

ITV has not confirmed the official line up yet but there are 12 rumoured campmates in the running.

Among the names linked to the series are Beverley Callard, Jimmy Bullard and Scarlett Moffatt.

Other stars rumoured to be taking part include Adam Thomas, Ashley Roberts and Craig Charles. Read the full suspected line-up here.

This time around, there is a twist.

While the series has been pre recorded, the final will air live from London.

Viewers will get the chance to vote for their 2026 Legend instead of watching a head to head final challenge.

By the time the recorded episodes have aired, two campmates will remain.

Both will still be waiting to discover if they have won. The suspense will be real!

When does I’m A Celebrity South Africa start?

ITV has confirmed that I’m A Celebrity South Africa will arrive this spring.

However, the channel is keeping the exact launch date under wraps for now and is simply teasing that it is “coming soon”.

The first and only run so far, which fans dubbed I’m A Celebrity All Stars, aired in 2023.

Former Hear Say singer and 2006 contestant Myleene Klass took the crown. She reached the final alongside Jordon Banjo and won the last eating trial.

That series began on Monday April 24, 2023 and wrapped on Friday May 12.

If ITV sticks to a similar pattern, this year’s series could kick off on Monday April 27, 2026, with a final on Friday May 15.

We have also looked at the Britain’s Got Talent schedule, ITV’s other prime time favourite, and there appears to be space for it to slot in around it.

For now, though, fans will have to sit tight a little longer.
