Latest Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Stu Carpenter resorts to desperate measures in an attempt to get granddaughter Eliza away from her dodgy dad Dom Everett. This comes as she shows up sporting a black eye and stories of scary movies and detention at school.
Recent weeks have seen Stu struggling with the return of Eliza’s absentee father, Dom. With Eliza staying with her dad, Stu has hired a PI to investigate Dom’s background, hoping to uncover some dirt.
Will Eliza’s black eye give Stu the ammunition he needs against Dom – or is his latest move likely to backfire?

Stu is left fuming at Eliza’s detention nightmare
As the storyline continues, Stu’s PI tells him that she hasn’t been able to find any dirt on Dom. He tells her to keep digging, no matter the cost.
Later, Eliza visits Stu and Yasmeen for tea. When she tells him that she’s been given detention for falling asleep in class – having stayed up all night watching a horror movie – Stu is left fuming.

Eliza’s black eye gives Stu ammunition against Dom
Later, Stu and Yasmeen are concerned when they see Eliza sporting a black eye. Eliza tells them that she took a bad hit at her Taekwondo class.
She explains that it’s nothing to worry about. Then, Felicity calls in to talk to Eliza.
Yasmeen and Eliza are shocked to realise that Stu has called Social Services about Eliza‘s black eye. Will this move work in Stu’s favour – or further alienate his granddaughter?
